'Oasis' leads a new generation of horses to water, as a trance perennial resurfaces via Dance On The Beat; it's one of German DJ Martin Roth's most sought-after cuts, and the centrepiece of his catalogue, back onto wax. It's itself a remake of Paragliders' mid 90s original, slotting neatly into that era's long-form, slow-burn structure; as ten minutes of gradual lift hear melodies emerging in wide arcs before an inevitable, full-strobing zenith, bringing both cheesy release and relief. 'Great Feelings' on the flip pushes a slightly brighter tone, the newer 'Feel Great' and 'Space' mixes leaning much more instinctual.
