  黑膠唱片，習慣又稱「膠木唱片」是一種黑色圓盤形的膠片，是用樹脂聚氯乙烯，即PVC壓製，上面刻有凹凸的刻紋，以紀錄聲音。早期的黑膠唱片只有單聲道，轉速為78轉（每分鐘）稱為SP，1948年之前SP（粗紋唱片）此規格為全球大一統的局面。
  
  1948年出了轉速較慢、面積較大的33又三分一轉密紋唱片（即LP，Long Play），每面大約可以錄製6首歌左右，是由德國發明家愛米爾‧貝利頌（Emile Berliner）發明的。密紋唱片LP的誕生打破了SP「大一統」的局面，SP由於第一，錄音時間短，第二，單張SP唱片 較LP重量重，相同錄音時間需要的唱片數量較多，不易攜帶。第三，粗紋唱片十分脆，極易損壞。第四，粗紋唱片保真度較密紋唱片差很多，信噪比低，低頻、高頻的頻率響應差。因此，自密紋唱片出現後，粗紋唱片便被迅速淘汰，於1950年代基本被密紋唱片完全取代。
  
  細紋唱片直徑常見的是12英吋，大量用於錄製各種音樂。
  SP粗紋唱片可使用鋼針（早期手搖唱機）和粗紋寶石唱針（電唱頭）放唱，唱針與密紋唱片不能通用。一般來說，唱片都是先用一塊質料比較軟的物料造成母碟，再把鋁金屬倒在上面製作壓碟用的母版。利用母版，唱片生產商可以重覆多次的把半融的空白硬膠碟壓成音樂唱片。
  黑膠唱片原本皆為黑色，到了1980年代後期時，這些唱片的顏色已不再局限於黑色，而可以是白色、橙色、透明、螢光色、甚至可以把歌手的樣貌印製在唱片裡，不過成本比較高。
  
  LP的聲波音率是最接近人類耳朵聽覺的類比式頻率，聲音較CD（數位）更飽滿、渾厚、輕柔而不尖銳、自然而流暢，是較接近原錄音的音場，聽LP的好處很多，唯一缺點是需要換面、放久了容易發霉，沒辦法用搖控器選曲或重聽，全部需要手動，但確是最溫柔美好的聲音載體。
  
  1975當年錄音技術為類比錄音。為尊重當年錄音品質，不修飾，不增加聲音內容，重新錄製全部原音重現。
  
  四十年來，鄧麗君以其甜美細膩的歌聲，唱出許多醉人的歌曲，深深觸動全世界樂迷的心弦。時至今日，那婉轉抒情的獨特樂音仍令人著迷不已，而她依舊是全球人心目中永遠懷念的歌后。此片黑膠大牒聲音定位清晰，更顯鄧麗君歌聲豐富的層次感。由於本片黑膠原版唱片之復刻版，完全保有其溫潤的音色，將鄧麗君細緻的嗓音深度呈現。
