It appears not performing live since 2009 until this run of summer 2025 shows - although the feuds it seems were real - has been a shrewd move financially for Oasis, with the appetite to see them never higher. They've rewarded those who've stood by them with live sets stacked with their best material - and a significant portion of their set is now made up of songs from this album, which is arguably their best alongside Definitely Maybe. While we all have a worn copy of this album somewhere, the opportunity to hear the songs with a new polish after remastering at the god tier Metropolis studios is a rewarding way to sink your teeth deeper into some of the best rock songs ever written. What's more: there's newly unplugged versions of five classic tracks 'Cast No Shadow', 'Morning Glory', 'Wonderwall', 'Acquiesce' and 'Champagne Supernova', all newly mixed by Noel Gallagher. Ultimately, feels less a box ticking exercise to cash in on the anniversary and more a genuine labour of love dedicated to the glory of these songs.
