This unofficial collection pulls back to the years before Lana Del Rey emerged as fully emblazoned, 50s-subversive image in the minds of pop fans; instead, we here reminisce on Elizabeth Grant's early vocal warmups and sound-tests in small lofts and stowaway studios in New York and LA. Now compiled into a single record, these recordings stretch from 2007 to 2011, where demos, leaks and even abandoned sessions would form the volcanic debut Born To Die. 'Pin Up Galore', 'Coca Cola', 'Hit & Run' and 'Jealous Girl' reveal her skittish early songwriting form, circling obsession, glamour and self-mythology, but without the polish that later defined her major-label work.
