「太陽之子」是「歌神」張學友對周杰倫的暱稱與認證。這個稱號源於2023年5月周杰倫在香港舉行《嘉年華》演唱會期間，雖遇到狂風暴雨，但幾乎在開唱前雨就停了。張學友特地送上印有「太陽之子」的芒果及手寫卡片，幽默認證周杰倫的幸運如同「太陽之子」。周杰倫自己也感動表示自己「心裡出太陽了」，並打趣說「太陽之子」這個稱號他拿走了。
專輯封面的場景是在巴黎的一座教堂Chapelle Sainte-Jeanne-d’Arc拍攝，它同時也是MV場景之一，這座教堂目前是一個空的場地，可以租借用來辦展覽、攝影之用，MV工作團隊考究了19世紀的陳設美術，將它打造成符合腳本的氛圍，加上是在夜間拍攝，所以出動9台大吊車在外面打燈，只為了打亮教堂的玻璃，呈現出懸疑暗黑的氛圍。
離2022年發行上一張專輯〈最偉大的作品〉至2026年，在這近四年的時間裡，周杰倫放慢生活步調、慢慢寫進音樂裡，慢慢醞釀歌詞、慢慢籌備ＭＶ，宛如創作腦中奇思異想旅程的12幅畫作，有龐大到以古典名畫融合現代電影感的巨幅印象派油畫；到輕巧詼諧揮灑的抽象畫、以地名命名的以景寫情的隨筆素描、工筆勾勒聲韻的中國風、狂放的歌德風搖滾、浪漫的異國情調、溫柔靜謐抒情的插畫風格；在熟悉的周式風格音樂底蘊上，增添了令人驚艷的新穎調色。
