『我只在乎你』是鄧麗君最後一張國語專輯，這個時期鄧麗君的嗓音多了一份成熟嫵媚與淡淡憂傷，散發出讓人難以抗拒的韻味。這張專輯之前日本曾以『酒醉的探戈』發行，後來才以『我只在乎你』為名在華人世界行，堪稱鄧麗君後期最美的一張專輯。更難得的是，裡面有三首歌曲是由鄧麗君以筆名桃麗莎譜上的詞，更顯得意義非凡。專輯的主打歌是由名作詞家慎芝填詞的『我只在乎你』，這首歌的日文原曲『韶光流逝』曾獲得第19屆日本有線大賞，不論是日文版或是中文版都足稱鄧麗君的代表作。黑膠唱片版本以高素質的180克黑膠壓製，錄音效果超越原版唱片許多，非常值得樂迷珍藏。
