Aussie guitar pop duo Royel Otis - comprising Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic - unveil their second album a mere year after the release of their acclaimed debut PRATTS & PAIN. The duo's vocal delivery is not far off the romantic tenderness of Angus and Julia Stone in the verses of the single 'Car', whilst the chorus breaks into more anthemic chart pop territory. This is feel good music yet it is offset by some heartbreaking lyrics and they capture the thrilling ebbs and flows of a relationship perfectly. Elsewhere, 'Moody' makes great use of multitracking vocals to create a dense wall of vocals thus elevating the song's power to sweep you into their universe. Few bands write love songs as succinct as Royel Otis.
